A few words that changed a beggar's life.
வாழ்க்கையை மாற்றும் வார்த்தை
நெடும்காலத்துக்கு முன்பாக, காசியில் ஒரு பிச்சைக்காரன் வாழ்ந்து வந்தான்.
Many years ago a beggar live in KAASI.
கையேந்தி காசு கேட்பதே அவனது வாழ்க்கை. ஒரு நாள் காசிக்கு ஞானி ஒருவர் வந்திருந்தார்.
Begging for alms was his life. Once a wise man came there.
அவரிடம் ‘‘என் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்ற ஏதாவது உபதேசம் செய்யுங்கள்’’ எனக் கேட்டான்.
He asked him, "Please give me some advice to change my life".
அதற்கு அந்த ஞானி, ‘‘நாளை முதல் நீ எவரை சந்தித்தாலும் காசு கொடுங்கள் எனக் கேட்பதற்குப் பதிலாக, நன்றாக இருங்கள் என வாழ்த்த வேண்டும்.
He said to the beggar, "From tomorrow instead of asking for money from people, you tell to each person that you see, 'I WISH YOU SUCCESS' .
இந்தப் பழக்கத்தைக் கைக்கொண்டால் உன் வாழ்க்கை மாறிவிடும்’’ என்றார்.
If you do this your life will change."
பிச்சைக்காரனுக்கு நம்பிக்கையில்லை.
But the beggar was doubtful.
ஆனாலும், ஞானியின் வாக்கை கடைபிடித்துப் பார்ப்போமே என முடிவுசெய்து, மறுநாள் முதல் சாலையில் எதிர்படும் மனிதர்களைப் பார்த்து ‘‘நன்றாக இருங்கள்...’’ என மனதார வாழ்த்தினான்.
Anyway, he decided to implement what the wise man told. So he said to each person he saw on. the road, "I WISH YOU SUCCESS".
ஆரம்பத்தில் அந்த வாழ்த்தொலிக்கு பயன் கிடைக்கவில்லை.
At the start these blessing words did not yield any result.
ஆனால், அடுத்த சில நாட்களில் அவனது செயலை மக்கள் கவனிக்க ஆரம்பித்தார்கள்.
But after a few days, people started to note it.
சுபகாரியம் செய்யபோகிறவர்கள் அவன் முன்னால் போய் ஆசி வாங்கினார்கள். காணிக்கை கொடுத்தார்கள்.
Before doing an auspicious thing, they met him and got his blessings.
சில மாதங்களில் அவனது ஆசிர்வாதப் புகழ் பரவியது.
Within a few months his fame became widespread.
வெவ்வேறு ஊர்களில் இருந்து ஆட்கள் அவனைத் தேடி வந்து வாழ்த்துப் பெறத் தொடங்கினார்கள்.
People started to come from different towns and cities to get his blessings.
அவனுக்கான உணவும், உடையும், இருப்பிடமும் அவர்களே அமைத்துக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
They provided him food, dress and shelter at their cost.
இரண்டே இரண்டு நல்ல வார்த்தைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு, அதைத் தொடர்ந்து சொல்லிவந்தால்... வாழ்க்கையில் எவ்வளவு மேம்பாடு ஏற்படுகிறது என்பதைப் பிச்சைக்காரன் உணர்ந்துகொண்டான்.
The beggar realized that just learning a few good words and then repeatedly telling it had bettered his life. So he was sure, if he continues it he will definitely attain an excellent position in his life.
ஒரு நல்ல பழக்கம் வாழ்க்கையையே மாற்றிவிடும் என்பதற்கு அந்தப் பிச்சைக்காரனே சாட்சி!
This beggar is an evidence that good habits can change your whole life!
