வலி அங்கே .. மகிழ்ச்சி இங்கே ..
நான் கடைத் தெருவிற்கு சென்றிருந்த போது ஓரு இளைஞர் மூன்று சக்கர சைக்கிளில் அட்டைப் பெட்டி பார்சல்களை வைத்து தள்ளிக் கொண்டு வந்தார். // When I had been to the market, I happen to see a person pushing a tricycle with some cardboard boxes in it.
அதை பார்த்ததும் எனக்கு தூக்கி வாரிப் போட்டது. காரணம் அவர் டிப்ளமோ படித்து விட்டு ஒரு தனியார் கம்பெனியில் சூப்ரவைசராக பணி புரியும் எங்கள் பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர். // I was shocked to see that, because he was a diploma qualified person of our area, who was working as a supervisor in a private company.
வியர்க விறுவிறுக்க வந்த அவர் அருகில் சென்று, "உங்கள் வேலை என்னாச்சு? படித்த நீங்கள் ஏன் இந்த வேலைக்கு வந்துவிட்டீர்கள்?" என்று கேட்டேன். // I went near that person who was sweating terribly and asked, "What happen to your job? Being an educated person, why did you join this type of job ".
அதற்கு அவர், "நான் அந்த வேலையில் தான் இருக்கிறேன். எங்க அப்பாவிற்கு இரண்டு நாட்களாக உடல்நிலை சரியில்லை. // He said, "Of course, I am in the same job. For the last two days my father is sick.
அவர் சில கடைகளுக்கு ரெகுலராக பொருட்களை சப்லை செய்து வருகிறார். // He had been regularly supplying some goods to a few shops.
எவ்வளவு சிரமமாக இருந்தாலும் சரியான நேரத்தில் பொருட்களை கொண்டு போய் கடைகளில் சேர்த்து விடுவார். // Whatever problem he may face in life, he never failed to deliver the goods to the shops in time.
பொருட்கள் போய் சேராவிட்டால் அந்த கடைகளில் வியாபாரம் பாதிக்கப்படும்.
If the goods didn't reach the shops in time, their business will get affected.
என் தந்தை உடல் நிலை சிரியில்லாத போதும் அதை நினைத்து வருந்திக் கொண்டு இருந்தார்.
My father, though he was sick, was worried about the goods despatch.
அதனால் நானே பொறுப்பாய் கொண்டு போய் பொருட்களை சேர்த்து விடுகிறேன். நீங்கள் கவலைப்பட தேவையில்லை என்றபடி , பார்சல்களை கொண்டு போய்க் கொண்டுடிருக்கிறேன்.
So I am myself doing it with great care. Now my father need not worry about it.
எனக்கு இது புது அனுபவம் என்பதால் வியர்த்து வழிகிறது.
Since this is a new job for me, I am sweating more.
இன்னும் ஒரு மணி நேரத்தில் இந்த வேலை முடிந்துவிடும்.
In one hour's time this job will get over.
பின்பு வீட்டிற்கு சென்று உடை மாற்றி விட்டு, என் அலுவலக பணிக்குப் போய் விடுவேன்", என்றார்.
Then I will go home, change my dress and go to my office.
அந்த இளைஞனின் செயலை எண்ணி மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தேன்.
The youth's action made me feel proud of him.
