Nobody is eternal Venkatachalam Salem meanderings - A friend worried about his health . Diary for public :  21.05.2019 Tuesday. Friends, Nobody is eternal, including you and me. Today morning I called my friend over phone and did an enquiry about his health.  I am very concerned to share with you that he feels that his health is going bad, day after day. He was fumbling with words to communicate to me that he may not live for long. However, I could understand that. He told that some relatives, may be from out of station, are present today in his house. Hence, we did not talk much. He is about 7 years elder to me and had a heart attack 3 years or so back.  Until a few days back, he was fit and driving a two wheeler. He would bring his laptop and learn computer typing, in spite of his failing memory -- dementia. Since, I felt I am indebted to him, I used to meticulously explain, again and again the basic computer operations. I knew that my efforts are going ...

One day the Tamilnadu Chief Minister Mr.Kamarajar called a Collector to his office for some discussion. . உரையாடலுக்கிடையே தேநீர் வந்தது.. During the discussion, he asked for tea. Many years ago a beggar live in KAASI .  கையேந்தி காசு கேட்பதே அவனது வாழ்க்கை. ஒரு நாள் காசிக்கு ஞானி ஒருவர் வந்திருந்தார். Begging for alms was his life. Once a wise man came there. அவரிடம் ‘‘என் வாழ்க்கையை மாற்ற ஏதாவது உபதேசம் செய்யுங்கள்’’ எனக் கேட்டான்.
