Coconut shell story and Einstein disappoints audience story
.
Friends,
Recently, a friend from Hosur told me that I am continuously sending very "HIGH QUALITY" content which made it very difficult for him to read. So he suggested a break and asked me to send "LIGHTER CONTENT".
I should thank him for the feedback.
To my surprise, he told this with a story. It was a long time that somebody typed out a story as a reply for my post or message.
Mostly I will be getting forward message and some with a threatening annexure, "IF YOU ARE A TRUE TAMILIAN, IMMEDIATELY FORWARD THIS MESSAGE"
Coconut shell Story
Once a pandit was taking meals after conducting a paid DEATH ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY SERVICES (thithi) in a house without doing any talking. The lady of the house accidentally served a piece of coconut shell in the meals. He ate it because one should not waste the meal. It will be considered disrespectful.
Noticing this, she wrongly thought, the pandit likes it, so she served more shells. The pandit got annoyed and said, "I BREAK THE SILENCE, I CAN'T EAT ANYMORE" (மௌனத்தை விட்டேன் என்னால் இனி சாப்பிட முடியவில்லை). Thus saying, he ran away.
In this context, I also recall another incident that happened in the life of the great scientist EINSTEIN.
EINSTEIN disappoints the audience, but ....
Once EINSTEIN had been invited to deliver a lecture in a big auditorium. Thousands of people had assembled there, eager to hear him speak. At the appointed time Einstein arrived with a long box. To the surprise of the audience, he opened the box and took out a violin.
He picked the mic and said, "I am bored with always giving lectures. For a change, today I will play the violin".
Saying so, he starting playing the violin for an hour or so. The people were spellbound. Nobody had the guts to challenge him. Of course, his music was also good to hear. After that he left the place.
