With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach. Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky. The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another lady in the group. Nobody is eternal Venkatachalam Salem meanderings - A friend worried about his health . Diary for public :  21.05.2019 Tuesday. Friends, Nobody is eternal, including you and me. Today morning I called my friend over phone and did an enquiry about his health.  I am very concerned to share with you that he feels that his health is going bad, day after day. He was fumbling with words to communicate to me that he may not live for long. However, I could understand that. He told that some relatives, may be from out of station, are present today in his house. Hence, we did not talk much. He is about 7 years elder to me and had a heart attack 3 years or so back.  Until a few days back, he was fit and driving a two wheeler. He would bring his laptop and learn computer typing, in spite of his failing memory -- dementia. Since, I felt I am indebted to him, I used to meticulously explain, again and again the basic computer operations. I knew that my efforts are going ...
